Halloumi/Hellim PDO

“As part of the EU Aid Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community with a focus on supporting the implementation of the Halloumi/Hellim package, boosting trade across the Green Line and improving standards,as well as fostering confidence-building and supporting civil society, this Action aims at bringing about more tangible and visible impacts in the relevant priority areas, in line with the island-wide planning principle, where appropriate, and the overall objective of reunification.

With a sustained technical and financial support, it is intended to help Turkish Cypriots to build on the results achieved and the recommendations for the way forward as provided by ongoing technical assistance projects to enable trade across the Green Line in food products, including PDO compliant Halloumi/Hellim.
